The first weekend of Whitby also coincides with Regatta. The place and pubs will be packed to the gunwales. Accomodation, always in short supply, will be at a premium even more than usual. I am of a mind to find a haunt outside Whitby for either Sunday or Monday, the Moon and Sixpenpence at Glaisdale comes to mind as a possible venue. The landlord is sure to make us welcome.
