LH - um, you have just described flattop as "towering" after we've spent considerable effort to persuade 'catters that he is only a foot tall... and blue-skinned. And as for people being scared of him... well, it could be his size, I suppose. After all, short people can hit you *very easily* where it hurts. Not having to stoop to a low blow can be a frightening advantage over more unfortunate, taller people.
