By the way, Joe actually sez to post lyrics and links for "folk" songs but just links for non-folk. Either way is fine with me, and who's to say what may be folk in the future? I actually think anything that was on AM radio from 1965-69 qualifies as folk music.

Anybody ever read Mark Twain's story, "Punch, Brothers, Punch"? It's about getting something stuck in your head like that. "Punch, brothers, punch with care. Punch in the presence of the passenjare!" And I seem to recall a science fiction story about a society of telepaths, where people actually BOUGHT songs to stick in their heads so as to interfere with mindreaders. Ring any bells with anyone?
