Dear Omar:
The gig only vaguely rings a bell, though, the Bell it rings is a recolection of Bill's Thesis on wether a fez works better than tin foil to amplify the voices in your head. Tin foil, if I remember right, can repell voices only if it is worn shiny side out, - where if you wear it shiny side in, the voices get louder... or so our neighbors who live on the streets of New York's lower east side tell me. I have been known to kick bandmates while playing and to write satires on the spot, and An Phis Fluich has been objected to by the organisation you state, as the title does translate badly, or well depending on your opinion of things in general.
But Accomplishment is a funny thing. Is it more accomplished to keep producing work apreciated by those who hear you, when those who wield the reins of employment ignore you - going for the safe choices, or is it accomplished to have courted the Tzars of the folk industry well enough to count on work. I don't know, dear old Omar, but if you keep listening, we will keep playing, even if it is in the subway, as it often is, to busk up enough to pay my bandmates.
