I agree with you, Skipjack. Coming from a family of dedicated teachers I can sympathise all too well. Over here we have 96 high school teachers who are suing the school board for a blatant violation of their contract which resulted in less pay for more hours worked. Also, our school district is dragging their feet on new contract negotiations with all of the teachers, playing a stupid game of "maybe we agree to a mediator, maybe not, we're not telling!"

Like the bumper sticker says, "It'll be a great day when the (pick your branch of the military) has to hold a bake sale and schools have all the funds they need."
