Just got off the phone with Aine and she asked me to let you all know she is still around. She has literally been inundated with "shit" as one of the pipes in her new house backed up and spilled raw sewage in her office and one of her bathrooms. Seems it is a major problem for which she's had a plumbing company there, using jackhammers, in her house, looking of a good place to tie into the pipe for repairs.

After 72 hours of jackhammers, she'd reached her limit, grabbed a cool Guiness and called MamaKat! She was laughing and crying through it all and really is in good spirits. Just cannot get to her computer for another day or two, so...here's some more news from her, until she can regale you in person:

All the pickaxe slinging that she's been doing, moving hundreds of pounds of rocks uphill, after digging them out of the ground, has caused TWO miracles! She says she has lost 30 lbs, no that is NOT one of the miracles, and has put on muscle. The miracles derive from the latter.

She wanted all you fellahs, esp. to know that she can now play barre chords! She is very excited about that! She always htought her hands were to small, now she knows she just needed more muscles in them. She's even thinking about some classical guitar lessons.

The other miracle is that because of all the pickaxe training, she has perky tits, again!! She turned 47 on May 11th and knows that this is not just her imagination because all of the plumbing guys look at her chest when they are talking to her and everyone knows if they're looking at your chest, it is worth looking at!

I don't know where she gets all of her energy, but she walked out in her garden and rattled off the names of a ton of plants, 76 in all, that she has planted including balloon flowers, st. john's wort, loose strife, shamrocks and begonias, both of which are blooming. Of course, that is partly because she was thrilled to receive I can't remember how many pounds of eight year old horse shit to fertilise with, for Mother's Day! That's our Aine, eh?!

Anyway, she loves ya'll and send hugs and snogs and will be back online asap. Tomorrow they are bringing in an air hammer...I told her that should mean it will go faster. She's just hoping they won't have to dig up 10 feet into her kitchen to find a pipe they can tie into. Right now that is what it is looking like.

The good news is she hated the carpet in her office and will now be able to get one she likes and the insurance will pay for it!
