On the subject of search engines, I've recently been using Vivisimo which not only uses the output from a number of search engines but also automatically categorises them. It doesn't always work perfectly, but can save you a lot of trouble when there is a lot of irrelevant stuff.

I use WebFerret for more in depth work. It searches using nearly everything.

PS - GUEST, you should really give yourself some kind of identifier. There's a GUEST at the moment leaving essentially impolite messages anonymously on a number of threads, and I wouldn't want to confuse you with that guest.
