Do you have a soundcard on your computer? There is software available to play music from TAB files, and to convert it to midi files, etc. There is other software which converts midi to TAB too, I think. I don't use TAB at all, so I'll leave it to the resident experts to recommend the best software.

For seeing music printed on the music staff, hearing it played while watching the notes light up, and printing out the music I use the music notation software called Noteworthy, which is available as a free demo download.
