Did my heart good to see Kendall and MAV bonding, sharing, and putting aside their politics for the sake of music and friends. Of course, had the Captain known who is dinner companion was...who knows?

Kendall's "Patrick Spencer" was a new one for me. And a keeper. He refused to perform some ditty about three ladies of the evening. Didn't want to offend the ladies. Apparently I was not one of the ladies he had in mind since he sang it with relish the following night. Linn and I will have to decide how to deal with him.
All had fun. All ate and drank their fill and left smiling. Thank you, Captain Bunker and Sharon for making it possible.

For all you single, male 'Catters, Naemanson's pick-up line is brilliant. Unfortunately, he had me in the car and couldn't follow through. Now picture a big, burly New Englander complete with grubby fishing cap accosting Miss Sweet Young Thing with "Are you Mary Johnson?" Said SYT responds with a shy giggle and "Come hither" gleam in her eye, "No, I'm not". Says our Brett, "I am looking for a woman I don't know" By now, she's all but following him to the car when he mumbles "And you'll do". He hasn't quite perfected the close yet.
