It is absolutely possible for men and women to be friends. I have at least half a dozen female friends, including my ex wife. She remarried and is moving to Vermont, but, my time with her was priceless. Sure it hurts, but, time really does heal. and the best thing you can do is avoid all contact until you are healed. Even infrequent contact will keep you stuck. Move on and dont look back unless you enjoy pain.
