Want to go to festivals cheap? Don't drink much?? Volunteer to be a steward. They always need good reliable folk to stand in a field and look at people's wrists. If you have the brain of a stunned mackeral, you could be a steward, you just need to be reliable. Any other skills are useful. Especially shouting. And looking silly in a flash jacket.

That aside, it gets you a free ticket in exchange for a little work, and it is great fun. I've done it for about 5 years now (since Phoebe was born) and love it. Even in the rain. So yes, I'll be at Towersey. I'm the one without a beard.
