Dear Folks:The times, they are in sorest need of changin'. I propose, (perhaps for inspiration), that we have a political cyber-sit-in, complete with song and sustinance. Here's the invitation:
Come ye, one and all, but in this wise: that ye present yourselves armed to the teeth, (as t'were), with songs of protest and political persuasion. The vintage and stripe of these ditties is left completely to the discretion of the individual participant, but a song of the genre is pre-requisite to admission. Potluck and BYOB.
As hostess, i'll begin. First, I'll pass out the canteens of cool spring water (hoping it hasn't got a taste of arsenic), and some of my "special recipe" carob brownies. And then, who'll join me in a rousing rendition of "The John Birch Society?"
Whose voice most needs, next, to be heard?
Shula
