Actually, confidence is no problem. I've long been a self proclaimed weirdo (too poor to be eccentric). My point was that I raised more eyebrows than folks who have undergone permanent modification. Maybe it's just because the Dallas area is a little stodgier than the rest of the nation, or maybe people were just jealous of the fact that I was having more fun than should be legal. Whatever the reason, it became a real problem, more with Himself than me. (He hated all the comments and sideways glances.)

Oh, well, I love being blonde, too, and temporary hair colors are getting better....
