Jim is what my parents called me; James is what by birth cirtificate says. Krause comes from some German speaking fella that had curly hair. Krause in German=Curly in English. In Low Saxon it is Krüse, in Dutch it is Kroese. And oddly enough, my hair is rather curly. So the name fits.

When I started out, I called myself Soddy, after the earth houses which were made of sod that the early settlers of the prairies in the US built. Then I realized that the word Sod means something entirely different to speakers of British English. Taking a tip from a couple of other 'catters, I decided to use my real name. Nicnames never seemed to stick to me anyways.
