I've heard no mention of the Fleece at Addingham in many long years. I assume it's still there. In the 70s it was the place to be on Sunday nights, with the two Daves in residence - often easier to get in through the windows than the door.

Just to keep Halifax weaving through this thread, I was a reporter on the Evening Courier for a while in 1969-70, in the company of some truly extraordinary characters.

Another credential for taking part in this thread is that I went to school in Leeds, and have the distinction of getting expelled from Temple Moor.
