That's a fair point Rick. But a minidisc is little more than a glorified floppy disk drive. There's not a lot that can go wrong (especially compared with a cassette recorder). How often do you hear of a floppy disk drive failing? Take the plunge - I swear to God you'll be amazed you didn't do it sooner.
