In Oz any word ending in "..anner" would rhyme, e.g. spanner, banner, if you pronounced banana as "bananna", but most oz-folk don't pronounce it that way, anyway, so it is a moot point.The point, by the way, being that we don't tend to pronounce the "r" in "spanner" etc, but pronounce it as if it were spelled "spanna". Years (& years) ago (I'm showing my age) there was an ad on tv and the jingle went "Oh, you canna hand a man a grander spanner"
A likely rhyme in Oz for "banana", then would be "Torana", a well-known Holden car.
How about "Hard hearted Hannah, the girl from Savannah"?
