I've only skimmed the posts above but as a nautical singer I have a fascination with "The Ship, the Black Freighter" with it's apocalyptic vision of the pirate ship coming in to haul us all away. Would make a chilling memorial song for some of them unrepentant wall street pirates. I'd like to work up a Balkan arrangement for some group like the Johnson Girls and see what evolved.
