Threads don't go away... your old one is still in here somewhere and it's best to stick to one thread per song when you can. I have seen years-old requests brought back with a new post and an answer found. In fact I got one that way myself just last month, that had taken only a year, but it was worth the wait.

What kind of song was it? I mean, in terms of style? Could it have been a bluegrass thing, or an older Appalachian thing? Or is it old church music, and if so what denomination was your mom? The more you can tell us, the better we can look. Do you remember the melody too?
