John, with piss-poor construction like that, I have to leap to Murray's defence. Where it's sheer bloody laziness that is evident, I think it is a graphic insult. Genuine dyslexia notwithstanding, missed apostrophes (weve, youve), missed spaces (weve, youve) and missed commas (Murray weve)give Murray every reason to rail against sloppy scribbling.

As much as this may surprise Murray (as the pedant jibe was actually mine!), I am equally pedantic and proud of it. However, John, I don't want to upset you, so I apologise immediately for the harsh words above. This is a running sore in Mudcat, and I don't want to inflame it even more. This is a musical community, and poor command of grammar or the written word shouldn't bar any contributor, but, to me at least, laziness is much worse than ignorance.

I was taught the importance of the correct useage of commas through humour. Ceasar entered on his head, his helmet on his feet, his sandals in his hand, his sword in his eye, an angry glare.

Battle bowlers on! Hostile fire!
