While on the subject of "GSs" , a few years ago we were having one of our perennial cocktail making sessions when a fairly straightlaced friend said that she had heard of this wonderful cocktail made from fresh peach or nectarine juice Apricot brandy and Champagne or Cava and lots of ice, we thought it sounded good and asked what it was called, she said "Golden Showers" and could not understand why the rest of us collapsed in helpless laughter, some one took her to one side and explained the OTHER meaning of the phrase...and she went very bright pink...
