Dearest Cleigh... I didn't mean to frighten you by saying I'd sic Spike on ya if you didn't lighten up on Spaw. In any case, no need to fear. Spike is on his way to Newfoundland to his new owner's wilderness lodge and will probably never see the mainland, or another porcupine, again (NF has no indigenous porcupines).

Funny thing about yard sales. I still have a bike, squash raquets, power tools, etc., for which nobody would give me more than a buck, but Spike went for an unbelievable price in a bidding war in less than an hour. I'm gonna miss Spike... he said while counting the twenty dollar billsss.
