Would local Mudcatters like to give the Open Door Folk Club a try? The club's every Sunday at the Bull's Head on Oldham Road, near MacDonalds on the Failsworth/Newton Heath border. The club has recently been taken over by Pauline Westall who has put a tremendous amount of effortinto re-energizing the it. There's a trad bias but we do welcome contemporary singers and musicians. We book a guest every month-upcoming:- John Brindley; Dave Jones; Geoff Higginbottom;Tap the Barrel; Lynn and Barry Hardman.PLUS--in October a two-day event with Joan Blackburn, Brian Peters, Jez Lowe and Pete Coe. Anyone interested in getting a Pub-Prop sorted out will find Brian there too. Seperate room and plenty of time to drink up. I'm determined to sell you this one!
