I've got a couple of different Leadbelly recordings of this song, somewhere. If the Foregoing isn't enough I'll find them and send you copies. Incidwentally, The Vipers Skiffle Group were chums of mine when I was stationed in England, 1957-1961. Wally Whyton introduced me to George Martin, then A & R head at Parlophone records. We recorded a bunch of stuff, four of wqhich were released before I was transferred Stateside. Six of these recordings are in my CD, "Spanning the Decades"
(shameless, aint I?)
Regards, Jody Gibson.
