Great day! Curmudgeon and I sat at the bar on the Arundel Wharf deck, getting sunburned while singing and having an overworked waiter/bartender person not be too interested in refreshing our beers (which, actually, did not match the selection at Federal Jack's, ah well). Pity there wasn't a water shuttle between the two venues! (For the performers' convenience as well as for ours!) But the weather was certainly more comfortable in Kennebunkport than even 5 miles up the river in Kennebunk! Great place to spend the day!
Really glad we had the 3 and a half hours or so between the afternoon music and the concert -- we had a grand time talking and singing on the deck at Federal Jack's. (And drinking beer and eating some lovely snackifications. (Okay, so I didn't really NEED the tiramisu!)
The acoustics in the renovated Town Hall could have been better -- sound bounced off everything. Hope they get some absorbant stuff in there before next year. Naemanson, you forgot Ken Sweeney and Bob Webb. Wish Celeste Bernardo had sung more. (Oh, wish Lou Killen had sung more...and I get to hear more of Martin Hugill today at 1:30 at The Press Room in Portsmouth, NH -- he's a treat!)
