Pay The Reckoning is a relatively new website, aimed at afficionados of traditional Irish music. The heart of the site is a collection of tunes by Aidan Crossey (yours truly). Written over the past few years, the reels, hornpipes, jigs, etc. draw their inspiration - in the main - from a childhood spent in County Armagh, by the shores of Lough Neagh. The tunes have been written on mandolin, but transfer well to other instruments. The tunes are available in abc, sheet music, tenor banjo/mandolin tablature and as MIDI files. Visit Aidan Crossey's Original Tunes.
The site also contains Rants and Raves and Reviews.
I'd really like to use the Reviews section to give some publicity to outfits who are independently producing and distributing their own work. (My review of Haste to the Wedding's CD "Take to the Floor" will give you an indication of the sort of approach I take. I'd like to think that I'm honest and supportive ...) I have given address details on the site's home page and wil shortly include them on the Reviews page.
I'd be delighted to include links to fellow mudcatters' own web pages in my Links Section - the site contains a number of e-mail links which you can use to mail these to me.
Any feedback will be much appreciated.
Go raibh mile maith agaibh!
