Some possible good news on the way...
The constituency of California's Congressmen and women is making their displeasure with the price gouging practices of the wholesale suppliers known to their local politicians.
Since documents are surfacing that demonstrate that the energy crisis is not the result of a real supply shortage, but instead, of anti-free market (but legal) manipulation of supply, as well as price gouging at the wholesale level, and because voters are becoming savvy to the situation, even the republican politicians of California may soon have to give in to pressure to advocate putting caps on wholesale prices. That should go a long way toward easing the energy crunch in California.
And if and when that happens, G.W. will be out on that anti-price control limb all by himself (with regard to California). Not an enviable place to be, considering how many delegates California has.
