Just an aside....I saw Ewan and Peggy at their folk club (The Singers Club at the Bull & Mouth) on a visit to London in 1978. Ewan mentioned that he had written the song during a series of transatlantic phone calls to Peggy while they were courting. Makes me appreciate the song even more. And although it's not "folky", I do love Roberta Flack's version. It would be interesting to know if Ewan ever expressed an opinion on it.
