In my schooldays I "sang" in the local "beat group" at church youth club socials etc. One Friday at St. Francis Xavier (St. Fannys) a lad in our 6th form asked if he could tape our performance. Flattered, we naturally agreed. When we'd finished our Berry, Cochran, Shadows etc set I asked why he did it. "It's for our debating society.
