Rick, You reminded me of the night my friend Jim and I were doing a duo in Flagler Beach, Florida. We took a break and a fancy sort of fellow asked if he could hold Jim's custom-made Berger guitar. (Mine is too.) He remarked, "what a shame - you've got a scratch on it!" Jim doesn't have much space for this kind of attitude and retorted, "Damnit, it's a hammer! I work with it!"
