Thread Name: Nick Jones (Nic Jones)
Subject: RE: Nick Jones
There is an unfortunate situation in the British Isles where someone has bought up back catalogue recordings of particular importance, to say nothing of enjoyable listening. This person seems to think that sitting on the recordings will lead to a big market, onto which he will condescend to release material.

One of the people caught in this situation, ie with excellent back catalogue material ripe for re-release on CD, is Nic Jones. Unfortunately, Nic had a severe car crash some years ago. He could well do with the income from back cataglogue releases, but this person doesn't give a toss.

The latest Nic Jones release is, therefore, of live recordings of Nic singing songs that were formerly released on these imprisoned recordings. Perhaps they don't have the clarity of studio recordings, but they are none the less important.

Nic is not the only artist to suffer from this person. Stu Luckley and Bob Fox have gone to the trouble of re-recording songs from their previous albums because this obnoxious half-wit wants to sit on the original recordings until the time is right for him to make some sort of a killing.

Isn't big business a heart-warming thing?
