Just got back - couldda swore it was @ 4PM, but DUUH! Got there just as the rain stopped, and in time for the last tour up. Have never been in the old Observatory despite 25 years in the area, so antied up the $3 and up we went.

By the time we got to the top, there was a spectacular rainbow sitting out on the bay, and a big ship was coming in through the drawbridge - beautiful - well worth the price of admission!

Not knowing where to kill 2 hrs on a Sunday afternoon in Ptlnd, came home for supper, will try to make it back in time for the REAL DEAL.
