A bit more trivia. Hyman Roth (played by Lee Strassbourg) was supposed to be Myer Lansky. In the sixties, I may (it WAS the sixties) have dated one of his nieces.

I still have trouble with that "Horse's head" scene. Boy, that guy must have been a heavy sleeper.
