Sounds like some of the 'criticism' here is more bad manners on the 'critics' parts. (Especially your bar manager blt!)

There is someone I've heard who really is a bit difficult to listen to as his delivery tends to be in several keys, but he writes lovely stuff! So I'll keep listening. We all have different aspects of talent. (Hesperis, I know a bit whereof you speak. One friend said once, "You have a lovely voice...SING OUT!" And I just can't! I gues we will someday. Until then...microphones?

Mine came in a 5th grade art class. "Cami will never be an artist, only a draftsman." Said to the class at large. It was, however, what I needed to hear to know I had to loosen up, and later I got a teacher who knew how to unlock my talent.
