Well, I'm not too computer savy but have been hanging here a while. Is the Mudcat format unique? I remember Lotus Notes (Notus Lotes) and its concept for organized chat. Are other chat boards different? What would it take to set up an inter-oranizational mudcat-type forum?

Additionally, if this is unique and different, I'd at the least recommend a permathread advising of that fact.
