Hmm, that's a bit of a reach, Clinton! At least on a weekday anyway - Friday/Saturday are easier, since I can at least crash on someone's floor or in the car instead of having to drag back home and then get up obscenely early the next morning for work. I'll try and get out to see your gig this weekend, anyway. I'm annoyed I had to miss the Windsor folk festival thingy, but given a choice between watching a bunch of hairy folkies or getting back to see my wife, I'd choose my missus any day! ;-)

At least I'm in a cheaper car this time around - the 3-litre Taurus the company rented last time was not only unpleasant to drive but needed a little under half a tank of petrol per day to get to work (45 minutes each way)! This time, I actually asked for a lower-spec car and got a little Pontiac Sunfire which I'm rather pleased with - handles nicely, faster off the mark than the lumbering Taurus, and half the gas consumption.
