I'm not an insomniac - It just that:
1) I don't need that much sleep & 2) I have a different sleep pattern to most people.
Having worked waking nights 10pm - 8am for the last dozen or so years may have something to do with it .... on the other hand thinking about it I never needed that much sleep and have always thought of 6am as belonging to the night before so maybe it's just that my work fits my sleep pattern.
