I revived this one to mention a record that's come out in the meantime: Martin Simpson's "Boots of Spanish Leather" on the "Nod to Bob" comp. Also the Robbie Robertson-less Band doing "Blind Willie McTell" on "Jericho." And, just because I love and miss him so much, Harry Nilsson's insane ranting of "Subterranean Homesick Blues" on "Pussycats."(J. Lennon, prod).
