I'm glad to know that at least one serious academic includes Bob Dylan when he lectures on the great poets of the twentieth century. It's my feeling that he belongs in that august company. My favoUrite secondary interpreters of Bob have always been Joan Baez and The Band, in no particular order, depends on the mood of the moment. As I age, I more and more prefer to just listen to the man himself. I find I have grown fond of his eccentricities over the years.
Recently I've added my own contribution to the catalogue. My CD, (read no further if you object to shameless self promotion) which will be released at The Free Times Cafe in Toronto on October 27, contains one Dylan song.
