Well I saw the Orillia fireworks from Cedar Island. No need to worry about the noise and I got to hear all about the sister of my parent's neighbour's walk in the park. It was cold and windy today but it didn't stop us diehards from having the 18th annual Arts for Peace Festival. Some lovely live music (the Raging Grannies nearly got blown off stage but instead only a speaker came down), clay, bubbles, painting, and planting bean seeds for the kids, hotdogs, fresh fruit and baked stuff to eat, not to mention Sacred Circle Dancing, Maypole Dancing and Morris Dancing, (hello John B.). Tables were there from Amnesty International and Project Ploughshares. A pleasant afternoon after I had changed my shorts and T-shirt to jeans, sweatshirt and a jacket.
