Hi...I am recently returned from Camp Alexandra in beautiful British Columbia. I had an absolutely great time, as usual, in a beautiful setting, as did many others. There was a downturn in attendance this year, partially caused by a change in the week it was usually held, some natural attrition probably...but I think that some people who would have enjoyed it just didn't hear about it. I thought what a shame, and promised them I would try to do something...I decided we needed a megalist of various organizations and individuals in the Northwest..however loosely defined...Northwest USA and I presume SW Canada...maybe Alaska..California...so we can get the word out. It doesn't have to be just retreats and concerts..could be recording information, radio shows, whatever. I'm pretty open.

Anyway, it will be easy to join or just email me at mgarvey@pacifier. com. I know some people can only get text mail, but it is impossible to keep people from sending attachments, incorporating pictures or whatever so I am not even going to try. There seems to be an option of accessing postings through the web if your email does not allow for large files.
