As a lad I would attend the odd guest tea or other such event and our next door neighbour, the late Paddy McCann originally of 'Cor Lane, Derrycor and latterly of Wolfs Island, would give a rendition of a parody, only some of whose lines I can remember. Can anybody else help.
The lines I can remember go ...
Down the Agahagallon Road
One evening as I strolled
I met a girl and her name was Jane Falloon
Mind she was no beauty queen
For her teeth were turnin' green
And she'd a pimple on her nose like a big balloon
Another phrase I can recall was
It was very plain to see
She'd had scallions for her tea
By the bright silvery light of the moon
