I hopped around reading the many threads on mudcat, related to this movie before choosing this one for my thoughts, as the title says succinctly what I want to urge you to do. I just saw the film and I loved it! The music is pure pleasure. The story line is held together and developed to showcase the music, I think. If you agree with me that there is a lack of popular culture support for folk music and that you wish more people would support it than, it is incumbent on you to see this film. It might encourage more work in and around this genre. See the movie.
