"A toast to my big brother George - the richest man in town."

For those of you who don't know, that's a line from my all-time favorite movie, It's a Wonderful Life. When I was younger I loved it for its sappiness. Nowadays, I love it for its truth. George Bailey didn't have money, but he had all the things that really mattered; and because he had been a friend to many, they came to his aid when he was in trouble. And that line never fails to make me sob.

It's the people who make my life joyous that are my greatest wealth.
