The two fellows are only distantly related, but both are top-notch songwriters coming up with timeless classics. Dave is the more prolific author, more than 2,000 songs. Roger and Dave both come from the small community of St. Peters, Cape Breton Island. Their genes may be distant, but as songwriting and recording partners, they are close!
