You're absolutely right about that Commercial, I don't know anyone who doesn't remember it

However (go ahead an yell at me if you want to)I strongly object to the term, "Native American" being applied solely to the American Indian.

THERE ARE NO INDIGENOUS HUMAN BEINGS IN THE ENTIRE WESTERN HEMISPHERE, THAT WE KNOW OF. The American Indian is as much an immigrant as anyone else. I was born in the United States of America as were my parents. That makes me a Native American. I take nothing away from the Indians. I have several close friends that belong to that group (don't bother waving your finger at that one)Among them The Blues singer, "Leonda" a Cherokee, and Tall Oak of the Narragansett. I have truly liked every Indian I've ever known. But they aint the only Native Americans.
