Thanks, John. Sorry I missed you later but I went 'mainstream' after your spot. Saw the Proclaimers, Placebo and David Gray one after the other and then left around 10:00-ish once re-united with sproglet. Got back to the hotel just after 11 very muddy, tired and ready for the two bottles of becks I managed to extract from the clutches of the night porter!

Just noticed on the official web page that I had a close escape by not going to the Sunday bash. A guest appearance was made by Noel Gallagher - I was trying to get away from Manchester Yobs!
