"New Inn" used to be very popular, if not very original; in my home town of Walsall, England, there were four, and one "New Inns" (plural). Now the ones that are left are called the "Ferret and Fingernail" or the "Tap and Spile" or some such corporate nonsense. How about the downright weird: "The Goat and Compasses", "The Gate Hangs Well", "The Case Is Altered", "The Bull And Mouth", "The Bull And Queen Victoria"? Well, maybe not Victoria! "The Bull And Eamonn de Valera"?
