When searching Mudcat (and perhaps this is true elsewhere; I don't know), I find that if I use the "Back" button to return from a thread to the Forum, I often see the same list of threads as I did the previous time I'd viewed the Forum, instead of the up-to-the-minute list. Kara, if this is the reason you missed the answers to your questions (as George Seto described above), you can avoid this problem by clicking on the "refresh" button on the Forum page.

I've also found that if I leave a thread open for a while, postings that occurred after I'd opened the thread will not appear on it. The only way I've found to "refresh" a thread you're viewing without returning to the Forum first is to add the thread to your "Favorites" list (in Internet Explorer) and click on the thread name there. Then you'll be able to see the most recent postings to the thread.
