I came to the Cat about two years ago, because i've always loved Folk Music, and was told that the Cat would be of interest because of the many threads about the musical forms and artist, past present and future. And to this day that's what I like about the Cat....I don't get involved in any of the controversy and/or argument because that's not why I'm here...Give me some meat and potatoes about The weavers, Odetta, pete Woody, Cisco and so forth, and i'll clean my plate and ask for seconds....give me a chance to listen to you guys and gals sing and talk about our music and i'll sing and talk with the best and worst of you. Everytime a question, philosophy, or the history of the music and its people come up on a thread, we shine and share with each other.....Ideas, philosophies and opinions on anything other than the music is no different that a....holes we all got them...Let's hav e fun like we used to and still can and let the music take us there....One and all and keep the tempo and song going....thanks Frank of Toledo
